Postpartum support

The first weeks and months after your baby arrives can be overwhelming: you are faced with an enormous responsibility, hormonal ups and downs and sleep deprivation. 

Maybe your loved ones don't live close by and your partner has to go back to work soon after birth. Or you need some guidance with caring for a newborn. Or maybe you are dreaming of moving through your postpartum period more slowly, with some extra help and a peace of mind.

A postpartum doula can help! Fern & Nettle offers support to new families in Cambridge, Kitchener- Waterloo and beyond.

Postpartum services include emotional and physical recovery support, infant care, light cleaning and laundry, meal preparation, feeding support, and more! Specific tasks will be discussed during consultation. Your postpartum doula will be flexible and adjust the care to best suit your needs on any given day.

The postpartum package includes:

• one complementary consultation, 1/2 hour long;
• 12, 24, 48 or 100 hours of postpartum support in your home (3-5 hour increments);
• phone and/or e-mail support during the day.

Investment: 

• 12 hour contract $ 420
• 24 hour contract $ 816
• 48 hour contract $ 1,536
• 100 hour contract $ 3,000.

Additional hours available on separate pay schedule ($35/hour). 

Overnight support available at $40/hour.
